I'm not sure how much my perception is grounded in reality, considering this is an impression I get from internet news sites (everyday I look over extreme left, right, and middle of the road sites).
However, over the past few months, it seems to me that there has been a surge of Catholic supporters for gay marriage, including priests. Interesting since I'm pretty sure the text of the Bible has not been changed in any way recently - though I have a suspicion when someone exclaims "the Bible says so!", in truth they just mean "what everyone around me is saying the Bible says".
No matter, this is a wonderful trend that will not stop anytime soon. I'm sure the haters need to get around to their new target - immigrants - which will probably in the future include the Chinese.
