Thirst (Törst) by Ingmar Bergman
Bergman, you are such a torturer! An extremely raw look at loneliness and companionship.

I expected a stupid action movie with shallowness all around, but wow was I pleasantly surprised! The panty wearing men were so very cool, with their shield and spear tactics and strong, warm hearts. I think I had goosebumps throughout the whole movie. Each shot's composition was wonderful, with their bold shapes and shadows, and what also what made them particularly interesting were the movements of the light sources; the scenes didn't feel as static as I imagined they would have been from the commercials I saw long ago. The colors, or should I saw taxtures, were fantastic. The metallic shininess of their skin and eyes were so visceral yet not too raw. The king's name is also the same as my favorite chocolate brand. Yummy.
There was this one scene that was very unexpected with the queen, yeah, she is awesome. Nice to see a movie like this since everything else I rented recently has been extremely depressing for some reason.
